Gianluca Ferullo
Born in 1980.
In 2005 he graduated in Industrial Design at Politecnico di Milano.
In 2003 he studied design and photography at Fachhochschule Design und Medien in Hanover, Germany.
In 2004 – 2005 he worked as designer for MR&D Institute, focusing on the development of concepts and products, in particular lighting and electronic system.
In 2006 he worked for the lighting factory Nemo S.r.l.
From 2006 to 2009 he has worked in the product development department, engineering outdoor, residential and office furnitures, for Alias S.p.A.
In 2010 he starts to work as designer and consultant in the product development, engineering projects for many design brands, in particular for Cassina contract division S.p.A.
In 2013 he has worked, in collaboration with IED Milano, as a professor in lighting design, focusing his course on the self production and the feasibility of the project.
The following year he presented the Lieve wall lamp at Light + Buildind 2014, designed for Nemo S.r.l.
He lives and works in Milan.
